Description
This elegantly understated wine decanter was Charlotte’s first commission, awarded to her by The Sheffield Assay Office for their Little Gems Collection during her time on the Silversmithing Starter Studio Programme at Yorkshire Artspace.
Originally displayed in Sheffield’s Millennium Galleries on it’s completion in the winter of 2009-2010, this piece now forms part of The Sheffield Assay Office‘s permanent contemporary silver collection, and was most recently seen as part of a touring exhibition, celebrating a decade of commissioned work for the Little Gems Collection, at the Millennium Galleries in Sheffield and The Goldsmiths’ Centre in London.
