This April, at the British Craft Trade Fair in Harrogate, Charlotte will be introducing her new copper tableware collection. This range has been developed to address a need for accessible ‘silversmithing’ pieces that do not compromise on design or quality of finish.
Copper has become a desirable material in interior design, and has long been an important design tool, helping Charlotte to visualise ideas before committing them to precious metal. It’s rich, warming colour has been the main inspiration for the collection, prompting the exploration into the use of geometric pattern, as well as colour and textural contrast brought in with the use of textiles chosen to enhance the natural tones of the metal.
The pieces in the collection have been designed to suit small batch production using a combination of modern industrial applications; in the form of laser cutting, and traditional silversmithing techniques to ensure the highest quality product.
